SOPNIL Bright Foundation is a Non-government voluntary organization (NGO). It was established in 2004 with the aim to dedicate its mission towards the development of the poor, Sopnil Bright Foundation has been working with the aim to establish human rights and justice, especially for the reelected and deprived men, women, and children in its working areas, through policy and Advocacy at the local level. SOPNIL Bright Foundation has always been working to ensure better serfdom from different service providers since its inception. SOPNIL Bright Foundation always gives emphasis to elements of all kinds of violence and it has been working with the community people to remove all kinds of gender discrimination from families and local levels.
In 2004 after having registration from the Ministry of Social Welfare SOPNIL Bright Foundation started to survey his working Area. SOPNIL Bright Foundation started its activities with its own initiatives with group formation. Organized weekly meetings for women’s groups, women started to know their rights from weekly meetings and discussions. Presently SOPNIL Bright Foundation working in the field of disaster management. Water and sanitation. Health and nutrition advocacy. Poverty alleviation human and skill development training. Universal education, agriculture, and sustainable development. Advocacy legal assistance and arbitration. Livestock development programs in the initial organization were focused on cultural activities like music, drama, recitation, mime, etc. through operating schools. While working in the communities, it is felt the community needs and involves to work with the rural–urban coastal, isolated, marginalized, and slum community people in the field of Child Rights (especially on Health, Education & Nutrition), rights on Person with Disabilities, PVE/CVE, Migrants Rights, RMG Workers Rights, Women Empowerment, Gender Discrimination, Legal Aid, Early Childhood Development, Safe Drinking Water & Sanitation, Public Health, Food Security, COVID 19, Climate Change (Especially on Landslide, Disaster Risk Management), IGA (Income Generating Activities), Entrepreneurship, Awareness Raising through Interactive Popular Theatre (IPT), and Good Governance Chattogram city Corporation, Chattogram District, Cox’s Bazar, Banderban, Khagrachori, Dhaka, Khulna, Gopalgonj, Sathkhira, including hill tracts and coastal belt.
The organization empowers the poor, the extremely poor, and the marginalized to become self-reliant through the support of various social businesses.
Assist in the adaptation and implementation of sustainable technologies to address the causes and adverse effects of climate change.
To be aware of what to do before and after the disaster, to adopt sustainable management, and to extend humanitarian assistance in times of disaster.

Management, Sopnil: Organizational Governance
Songshoptaque is run by seven (07) members of an Executive Committee which is elected by general members according to its constitution. The Executive Committee does all the strategic directions and principles of the Organization where the Chief Executive is accountable for program implementation, monitoring, evaluation & financial management. The executive committee arranges a meeting each quarter whereas the general committee arranges a meeting in a fiscal year (July – June).
